Motorola RKN4075C is a 3rd generation RIB-Less programming cable which allows programming any GP-Professional series two way radio but also allows firmware upgrades via the HLN9742 adapter. This cable does not require a RIB box. However, it is a serial cable and therefore requires a physical serial port or USB to 9-pin D-sub adapter/cable.
RIB-Less Cable
The RKN4075C cable does not require a Radio Interface Box (RIB), and is supplied with a 25-pin to 9-Pin RS-232 adapter.USB to Serial Adapter Required
The RKN4075C cable requires a serial port (COM port). If your computer of laptop does not have a COM port, you will need a USB to Serial adapter.For Firmware Updating
