Rack Mountable

Motorola SLR 5500 is 1U rack mountable, using the included PMLN6826 rack mounting kit, meaning SLR5500 is installable in a standard 450mm network cabinet for a neat and tidy installation.

Basic Wall Mounting

The included rack mount bracets also double up as wall mount brackets. Spin them sideways and mount the SLR 5500 on the wall.

Advanced Wall Mounting

For more complex wall mounting, Motorola has a PMLE5031 advanced wall bracket that allows the SLR5500 and a duplexer to be mounted near and tidy on the wall (preferably in a locked cupboard).

Product Overview

The SLR5500 is a digital repeater from Motorola. Operating with either UHF or VHF frequencies (select when ordering), the SLR5500 is capable of mixed mode operation between both analogue and digital. A channel capacity of 64 allows for sufficient communications for a larger business, expanding the range of radios across substantially sized facilities. Designed to offer round the clock operation, the SLR5500 continuously transmits at 50W, this being its full transmitting power. A high-quality build is ensured through Motorola’s accelerated life testing programme, meeting stringent quality criteria. A slim unit with a smart design, the SLR5500 maintains an excellent performance whilst offering high reliability. The SLR5500 is designed in order to be compatible with the MOTOTRBO feature set, this means that it can make use of such features as IP Site Connect if connected to compatible two way radios. Efficient operation with a low power consumption, the SLR5500 has a low thermal footprint meaning that the cost of ownership is very low compared to other repeaters.
