The Motorola APX8000 is a full-size digital P25 portable two-way radio and is considered by many to be the industry standard two-way radio for public safety and blue light services such as police and paramedics.
There are 3 model in the Motorola APX8000 range. APX8000 1.5 has no front screen and no keypad. APX8000 2.5 has a full front screen and a limited keypad. APX8000 3.5 has a full front screen and full keypad.
The Motorola APX8000 is usually supplied with an antenna and battery. Charger is typically optional because users like to choose between a single charger and a 6-way charger. Other accessories available for the Motorola APX8000 are earpieces, headsets, microphones, carry holsters, belt clips and carry cases.
