VOX Compatible
When you’re looking around for an earpiece, it’s important to remember that your radio may have a voice activation feature called “VOX”. If your radio does have VOX and it’s activated in the radio*, this enables you to use your radio without having to actually push the PTT button; simply speak and the radio will activate itself.
* Note: VOX may need to be switched on in programming.
