Description
Vertex Standard FNB-V129LIIS (AAL73X001) battery is the high capacity battery for VX-820IS/VX-870IS series’ and VX-920IS/VX-970IS series’ intrinsically safe two way radios.
This battery is a direct replacement for FNB-V92LIIS (AAE79X001) but it’s important to note that this battery also requires an updated charger, VAC-UNI (H), as the old CD-53 charger is not compatible with this battery.
Updated Charger Required: The FNB-V92LI and FNB-V92LIIS both used the CD-53 charger. CD-53 charger is not compatible with this battery and therefore you will need a new charger. The correct charger for this battery is Motorola VAC-UNI (H) available here.
NOT FNB-V129LI: This battery is a special intrinsically safe version and not the normal version of the FNB-V129LI (FNB-V92LI). Do not buy this battery if you have a normal VX-821, VX-824 or VX-829. Instead, see Vertex Standard FNB-V129LI.
