1 review for Motorola DP3400 & DP3600 1700mAh IMPRES Lithium Battery

Radiotronics asked us to give our opinion on this battery and here it is. We’ve had Motorola DP3600 radios for years and they’re great, except for the PMNN4065A nickel metal battery which only seems to last about a year. We contacted Radiotronics for advice about this and it tursnout that, due to our erratic shift patterns, the batteries were getting charged 2-3 times every 24 hours. Radiotronics suggested we try this PMNN4066 battery which is lithium and can withstand more frequenct charge cycles. We’re now 18 months down the road and the batteries are still going strong. We’ve since replaced all of our old batteries for PMNN4066A battery.

Radiotronics also recommended we get the IMPRES battery software to connect our chargers to our control room PC. Now we can also monitor the health of our batteries (which are all still well above 95%). Excellent service and advice from Radiotronics and an excellent battery. 10/10.
